Order of products in category

I have a problem with ordering products. I have a category "drinks" and two subcategories in it  "coffee" and "tea". Products in "coffee" and "tea" I can set through the category filter, but as I enter the main category (drinks), the coffees and tees products mix and I can't set them in order through the category filter. Please help

You did not say your prestashop version but spoken in general, there is a setting in =>  backoffice => preferences => products.

There you can choose the products main sort order. If you choose "category order" (or named similar), you can define this order via => backoffice => catalog => products.

 

Enable the filter by one category, sort by position and then you can drag and drop the products into the order you wish.

I have "category order" and like I said before I can order products in subcategories but in my main categorie I do it the same thing but it doesn't work.

This wasn't quite clear with your first post. And you did not say which ps version you use.
