[1.6.1.16] Temporary fix for the Frontcontroller::init error?

This bug is pretty harmless but it keeps spamming my BO error logs whenever a customer places an order. I've already submitted a bug report on Forge but it's gonna take months until they release a patch. @Scully said there was already a fix that somebody came up with but he couldn't find it. There are some solutions in it but I'm not sure as to which one is the most plausible one.

I'm hesitant to integrate either of them since @Scully mentioned this was an issue with bad redirects when an order is placed and those solutions seems to have nothing to do with fixing redirects.
