Flash suddenly stopped working on my site for Chrome / Firefox

Got a customer today telling me the sample sound clips don't work in Windows 10 with Chrome and Opera. I checked myself and they are not working for me either (nor with Firefox). But a friend with Windows 7 seems to work fine. Also I just loaded Edge and although it blocked the flash at first it at least gave me the option to turn it on.

So what has likely happened ? This must be new as I would have checked the sound clips less a week ago.

I am using a flash based audio MP3 player for samples of CDs my site sells. The module is obviously still working due to it working in Edge and on my friends Windows 7 PC.

Anything I can other than change them all to HTML5 ? Any idea why the sudden change ?

It is a Prestashop module that plays MP3 files, I now have 1000's of them on the site, setup in around 2013 before HTML5 was greatly used. The template I have is PS1.4 with lots of custom edits which cost a lot to pay for at the time. It is just a mom and pop type shop, 2 person. We are considering upgrading at the end of the year but with 1000s of sound clips it will be a huge task. Also it worked fine until now so thought nothing bad about it.
