jdmorrisn
I have an image that I have inserted above the header in the webpage. What I want to do is add a weblink here to redirect to my main webpage, how do i do this? Can I insert the url in the css where the image is coded or I need to do something else? Also It seems that when I click and go to any ofpages there doesn't seem to be any 'home' tab to redirect you to the main page, you have to manually type in the website address - how can i install this? rocky
You can't make images added using CSS clickable. You must use HTML code like the following, which is from header.tpl in the default PrestaShop theme:
jdmorrisn
Hi, big thanks for the help. I have been at this all day trying one step at a time putting it in one line at a time to find the right place but it just keeps messing my page up, so I had to take it out. This is my problem, I am incorporating this into my main website which has many other features and the ecommerce is just one part. So I want it to look similar (making it the same is pretty much impossible I see). I didn't want the original logo that Prestashop wants you to upload to show on the 'front office', so by trial and error I have found how to remove this from the header.tpl and css so now it doesn't show on the store front. Then I managed to find how to add an image (which is the same as the top of my main website and I have managed through global.css and header.tpl to make it work. So now the things that usually work don't work so easily.A long story but you can check the 'under progress' website with firebug and see what I mean: www.marisrom.com/e-boutique
