Sales Tax calculation with a strick thru discount.

Prestashop will not calculate the correct tax when there is a strick thru on the price.

 

Example:  I have a product and the suggested retail is $999.95 and I have it listed at $799.95.  So there is a line thru $999.95 on the page.  When it comes to calculating the tax for the listed price of $799.95 it will not calculate it correctly.  It gives a weird arbitrary tax that I cannot make any reason out of it. 

 

I have searched and have seen other posts that have never been answered on this subject.  Some have been around for several years.  

 

If anyone could please help or send me in the right direction I would be greatfull.  I would hate to have to abandon the program.
