resume-page broken & there comes no verification-mail after purchase

Hi there,

first, sorry for my bad English.

I have two big problems:
1: If I put any product in the shopping-cart and go to the resume-page than there is no resume of the products. The photos aren´t there neither the description or the price. But the final price is there.
I only know that it's not a problem of the template.
If it is a bug, please tell me how to resolve it because all my customers step back at this point.

2: We´ve made some trial purchases and noticed that the customer receives confirmation messages but we won´t get any advice that there have been purchases. Is it the common way to control backoffice/ customer/ carts or backoffice/ orders as much as I can??

If somebody could help us with one of the problems, we really would appreciate it.
