Error al instalar PS1.7 We can't start installation

Muy buenas a todos.
Subi archivos de PS 1.7 al hosting via FTP.
En principio en el hosting no logro subir el archivo check.php 

Comando: STOR check.php

Respuesta: 550 check.php: Forbidden filename

Error: Error crítico de transferencia de fichero

Al querer instalar prestashop me dice el siguiente error:

  We can't start installation

1. PrestaShop installation needs to write critical files in the folder app/cache.Please review the permissions on your server.

You can contact your web host provider to fix theses requirements.
