Importing Products CSV : Not working with different languages

Hi

I'm starting to lose my mind!

I have a shop with 2 languages, english and spanish, i'm trying to import a lot of products

First: In the backorder side I choose Spanish as the language of the CSV then I import the CSV with names and description on spanish and the products are imported in spanish both for the english and spanish side of the front office..ok

Second: I import the same CSV, this time selecting English on the backorder, what happen? This import deletes all the spanish from the SQL, importing english texts for both english and spanish on the backorder. FFUUUUUU..

What can I do to import products with the CSV and different languages?

you know i am just trying to do the same thing. Unfortunately you can not import 2 languages via csv with prestashop. you have to do it via the database. Its driving me nuts to, you would think it to be an important feature.

I hate editing the database and feel like giving up lol

This multi language feature was introduced in version 1.3.x. So it is quite new.
If it doesnt work, and you really tested that, then go and log a bug.
It would help PS and the community. If you can suggest even some code changes so that it might start working, then even better.

hey dude, so sorry if i was wrong but i read on this topic (below) that importing different languages via csv was not supported and that the option to choose a language was for choosing what language to encode in.
