HelenI
Please help me! My website is very slow. Is it some kind of module that makes it slow? My main problem is that front page takes 15 seconds to load! And I have too little knowledge to know what causes this. Can you help me to figure out what the problem is so that I can find a way to fix it. Scully
Analyzing performance from only seeing the frontend is a difficult or even impossible task. And most likely it is a very time consuming task. Performance can be affected by many settings. We care on performance a the very first moment we start to setup a new shop. And we usually don't have shops running with more than 2 seconds of load time. First of all post the following: 1. Backoffice => Advanced settings => Configuration 2. Number of modules installed => Backoffice => modules => number of installed and number of deactivated 3. Cache Settings from => Advanced => Performance

HelenI
I think I have found my problem. Disabling Magic redirect module decreased loading time quite a bit (10 s!). I have contacted the developer to figure out how to make it faster. Removing some modules not in use increased speed some more. thank you for the tip, Scully! Scully
I feel like an apostle. Every module takes time for its processing and deactivating is not the first choice if it comes to performance. Uninstalling is first choice. And the more modules you have installed the higher the chance that some modules do not really work smoothly or interfere with other modules. Similar with themes. Some work good in terms of performance, some less. As a comparison: With our default prestashop setup we have appx. 45 to 50 modules installed and active. According to my latest test your site works very well now. Add 'SOLVED' to your topic title or mark best answer if your issue is solved for now. Have a good day.
