delivery slip edit

Hello fellas,

 

i have to edit the delivery slip pdf so it prints out the customer message (if any) for the order. Im not very good at code editing so i can really use your help.

Sadly it's not as easy as that, so you really need a developer if you don't know how to code.
you have to edit a .tpl file, as well as the corresponding controller (I am not positive it's assigning the messages already)

You are correct with your assumtion. By default no messages are handed over to the PDF controller. Which exactely means you have to change the delivery slip as well as some controllers to make messages available.

From experience we had with implementing very similar changes on some customer shops. After having done the change customers complained about *some* messages they didn't want to show up in the delivery slips. Once it's automatet you also could catch any kind of text, regardless of it makes sense or not.
