bellini13
i hate to say it, but if all the information were correct, then it would work. There is very little we can do here to support you, since we don't know what the correct database information is, and what you actually used.
smab
I am having EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM and that's (I'm a newbie to YOUR SOFTWARE) trying to install it following "YOU" documentation apart from other disasters via XAMPP I gave up on Bitnami and Apache Friends and used MAMP this is now the furthest I have got in 8 days YES 8DAYS so much for 5-10 install. I am using a 13"MBPr (mid 2014) MacOSX 10.12.6| MAMP 4.2.1 And "TRYING" to install your latest version of Prestashop 1.7.2.4 On test your database, installation becomes stuck.Database Server is not found. Please verify the login, password and server fields (DbPDO)I think your response and support structure sucks, I'm a student trying to evaluate your software for a course credit I had 2 weeks to do it in which now has took 8 days to get this far.
