Ava123
SOLVED Hi, I have just started using PrestaShop 1.6 for my online store.I am in Australia and use Australia Post as a carrier. How do I set up my cart to calculate the postage cost for Australia Post? There are no modules that I can see.Any help would be greatly appreciated. NemoPS
If the cost is dynamic, you will need a module that hooks into the Australian Post api. Sadly, if there is none, you can either use flat rates and add ranges yourself, or create one (or hire a developer to do it)
Ava123
Thank you for you help. Is there a way for me to Integrate their API into my website? They provide it all. I have seen a module for Australia Post in the PrestaShop add ons but it's USD$109 which is not an option at the moment.
NemoPS
Well you should know how to make a payment module first. I cover it in my prestashop modules course (you can find it on my site), but obviously not in terms of that specific api
Ava123
I thought it would be easier to just go ahead and purchase the Australia Post module. I have configured and done everything as per instructions. When I go to the checkout it says There is 1 error There are no carriers that deliver to the address you selected.« Back 'The product selection cannot be delivered by the available carrier(s). Please amend your cart.' I am at my wits end. I can't find what else to do. Any ideas? Edited August 20, 2017 by Ava123 (see edit history)
Scully
Carriers can be restricted by region and country. If you haven't set up these you might start there. Backoffice - Localization - Countries. Check if your country is enabled and which region it has set. Backoffice - Localization - Regions Check you have at least one region which is enabled and matches your region set in your Country. Furthermore if you have installed your module you must also make sure it's enabled. Go to modules and check there if it is listed under active (or enabled) modules. NemoPS
It's a pretty common error actually. As Scully already mentioned, try checking restrictions and see if there is anything that might trigger the error there. Also, check the zones available for each carrier the module has created, under carriers
Scully
Ok, zones might be the correct term, not regions. If have german installed and don't see the original terms in english.

Scully
Very good. Thank for the reply. And you could add 'SOLVED' to the topic title (editing the very first post) or mark an answer als 'best answer'.
