Missing text fields [back office] for formatting

Hello,

I keep on having to re-install version 1.7.2 to view the text fields for formatting in the back office.

I noticed it when I tried to amend the Custom maintenance text, and was unable to do so.

 

A similar field for the custom text block module, is also not available when the corruption occurs as well.

Please is there a fix for this?

forgot to say that i resolved this a while back, its turns out that it was the language setting for the back office.

I was deleting the default English (en) and replacing it with with United Kingdom settings (gb), so I enabled the 'en' just for the back offices, and disabled it on the website, and through preferences I set the site language back to 'en' .

so my tiny mce now works and I have to enter the text twice, just to be on the safe side for both 'en' and 'gb'

Just sharing my small fix!
