Top Menu + Categories Page issues with Customers Groups

Hi , 

 

(For prestashop 1.7)

 

 

I have different sub categories for different types of customers, and I want to show on the top menu only the sub categories list that each customer group should see, not all of them. Does anyone have a simple solution for this?

 

Another thing is the missing sub-categories list on category pages, I remember that on 1.4, 1.5 it had that "feature", can't remember if 1.6 had, is it possible to have that feature again, by changing the category php and template files?

 

And I also have an issue, that is showing sub categories products on his father's category page that it should not show because that specific sub category is hidden for that specific client group, I know that a work around is to don't show "Children's" products on "Father's" Page. But then I would always have empty categories.

 

I may be missing something.

 

 

Any tips or ideas?

Well, I've seen that the issue here is really the Prestashop version 1.7, because on version 1.6 most issues that I said above don't exist.

 

So the solution is to keep developing projects on version 1.6.
