Rui-PS Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 Hello, We have the following problem: Product a -> price (tax excl) -> 3.49€ -> qty -> 10 -> equals 34.90€ Product b -> price (tax excl) -> 6.70€ -> qty -> 10 -> equals 67.00€ Product c -> price (tax excl) -> 1.66€ -> qty -> 10 -> equals 16.60€ Total = 118.50€ So far so good Tax rate = 23% The total tax should be 118.50*1.23=145.75 We are getting 145.90 -> Wrong calculation PS Version -> 1.6.1.15 Could anybody help us with this? Scully Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 It's not wrong. It's just a rounding question. Your tax is calculated and rounded as per item, not in total. There is a preference if i'm not wrong to change this behavior. Preferences - General: Rounding per line or in total. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rui-PS Posted July 31, 2017 Author Share Posted July 31, 2017 If we change it to round per line: Product a -> price (tax excl) -> 3.49€ -> qty -> 10 -> equals 34.95€ -> Wrong Value Product b -> price (tax excl) -> 6.70€ -> qty -> 10 -> equals 67.07€ -> Wrong Value Product c -> price (tax excl) -> 1.66€ -> qty -> 10 -> equals 16.66€ -> Wrong Value If we change it to round per total: Product a -> price (tax excl) -> 3.49€ -> qty -> 10 -> equals 34.95€ -> Wrong Value Product b -> price (tax excl) -> 6.70€ -> qty -> 10 -> equals 67.07€ -> Wrong Value Product c -> price (tax excl) -> 1.66€ -> qty -> 10 -> equals 16.66€ -> Wrong Value Even worstPlease advise... Scully Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 I don't understand your latest figures. They both show the same. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rui-PS Posted July 31, 2017 Author Share Posted July 31, 2017 Every possible round configuration returns wrong values in the tax calculation. If it was 0.01€ difference it would be 'less harmfull' But how could we explain to our costumers 0.11€... 0.13€ in difference. Did anyone fix this issue? Scully Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 Your are most likely rounding to 5 cents and / or you might have wrong rounding rules. Post a screenshot from your rounding rules. And: have you an override for roundings installed? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rui-PS Posted August 1, 2017 Author Share Posted August 1, 2017 Hello these are our config's: Round down to the nearest value Round on each item 2 decimals The other thing we did not know is that in the catalog price is ok (see printscreen) -> Product A But on the product page the decimals are diferent (see printscreen) -> Same Product A This is the issue, there are to many decimals. Is there a way to limit to only 2 or at max 3? Tks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
