$manufacturer.jpg As manufacturer logo

Hey guys , is there any way to generate a $manufacturer.jpg file when adding a new manufacturer or updating a manufacturer that is allready created ? For ej :

 

i add a "corsair" manufacturer 

 

aside the default generated images : *large_default" "medium_default" and "small_default" , i need a corsair.jpg file in the same directory

 

Any way to make that ?

You had to override the manufacturer controller to achieve that. But why? All manufacturers get images with their ids. Why have a duplicate?

Its for seo purposes.

The default image name is irrelevant ,  "hp.jpg" for example with a good "alt" would sum some points.

 

Any easy way to achive that ?

You had to change the manufacturer admin controller as well as the manufacturer front end controller to change according to your wishes.

Without having done it before I'd guess some 2-3 hours to change it when you have experience with PHP and prestashop controllers.

However I don't know any way with default behaviour and without changing the relevant parts in the code.
