Test email sent but non received

Hello, I'm trying to solve a problem regarding test email sent but not received.

 

I have a test site with the following info:

 

Installation type (new/update): New
PrestaShop version: 1.7.1.2
Theme (default/customized): default, only modified css
Code (original/modified): original
Hosting: See below
PHP version: 7.0.21
MySQL version:5.6.35
Browser(s) concerned: na

 

Server information: Linux #1 SMP Thu Feb 23 12:34:25 EST 2017 x86_64

Server software version: Apache

PHP version: 7.0.21

Memory limit: 128M

Max execution time: 90

Upload Max File size: 20M

 

I am unable to receive the test emails.

 

My smtp details have been verified to work, by using another host, hosting the same prestashop version.  I'm not sure what to do.  My host only says that since the SMTP credentials can send, it must be prestashop's problem.

 

I checked the delivery error logs in my host and got this:

The error message seems clear:

Invalid verification / invalid sender!
