Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty Compiler: Syntax error in template

Hi!   
I restored a working backup. When I opened the homepage, I got this error: 

Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty Compiler: Syntax error in template "/home/something/domains/something.com/public_html/modules/psproductcountdown/views/templates/hook/header.tpl" on line 37 "{$custom_css|escape:'quotes':'UTF-8'}" unknown modifier "escape" <-- thrown in /home/something/domains/something.com/public_html/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatecompilerbase.php on line 37

 

I also deleted the cache and compile files from smarty folder but it doesnt work.

Please help me!
