Importing orders from my old platform

So I just started with PS but I have sales from 2 years ago that I need to import.....

 

Is there a guide for this?

 

I was thinking about register them as regular sales and then change the date directly from the database, but I think this could causes issues, for instance customers would be registering orders before they even exists in the system.

 

I would really appreciate some tips.

Sales data are spread over some 20 tables. Most important are ps_orders and ps_order_detail. Your old shop may have another way to store these data, so transferring may involve some transformations. As you don't tell from where t=you want to migrate it is hard to say more.

 

There are several tools on the market to do such transfers for you. But they cost some money.
