How do I remove "developed by" etc on prestashop 1.4?

I removed the "powered by" from modules but I can't seem to find another bunch of links on the bottom left of my site.

It says "Developed by" and "hosted by"

 Any ideas on how to remove them completely? Thanks!

This was discussed several times here: Uncheck the links cms block module.

On back-office tab "modules & services -> modules & services -> cms block - > configure -> Display various links and information in the footer. Uncheck the links -> save -> clear browser cache.

 

Tab on PS 1.4. could be another. Search for the module CMS block. There you will fid the setting.

I've done that. It removed the gif on the right bottom, but not on the left. :/

Sorry, right bottom, left bottom ? Cannot follow what you mean. Can you please add a printscreen or name the URL of your site, for to visualize what you are meaning. Perhaos you are using a non-native theme and you need to configure it there.

Oh this one should be coming from your theme. On older Prestashop versions you had to comment on header.tpl or footer.tpl file the part of "useful links". Take a look into that file and comment the lines (should be on bottom of that file).

There is no such file in the website. There's lots of header files though. 

But no head.tpl

I'm currently searching for the line you mentioned.

EDIT: Found it! It was under themes, in a text file named "footer.tpl"

EDIT2: That's odd. I Removed the links and they still show on the website.

EDIT3: OK I deleted the footer file and it's gone ^^
