I have just downloaded 1.7.8.11, and the files are in the correct place, as mentioned in my post:
/themes/classic/templates/catalog/listing/product-list.tpl
and
themes/classic/templates/catalog/_partials/productlist.tpl
And the lines also look the same...Line 60 & 26
