plesk-site-preview credentials not working

Hi.

 

I am running a new PrestaShop that i am building and it is in a different server then my current website and i cannot DNS propagate before it´s built and ready to be online.

 

I have used the hosts file to point to my new server and everything is working so far but recently i am having an issue with the company i bought the theme and they need to log in my prestashop but they cannot edit their hosts file and i do not see any workaround for this problem.

If my new prestashop shop would be in the same server i could easily create a sub-domain but it is in a totally different server.

Using the plesk-site-preview will show the page but the credentials will never work for some reason and they are valid.

 

Can anyone help me on this problem?

What exactly do you want to do ? If your IP is not yet propagated, so the only way to access a cloned URL on two dif. IP's is by changing the hosts-file on the machine from which you are accessing the page. Perhaps they don't know how to do this (very common by not experienced IT people). ;-( Give them some instructions on how to.

 

The access to Plesk ever worked for yourself ? Perhaps you need to change the port on ini of your server. BTW Plesk is not really a support task for the Prestashop Forum. For this you should use odin forum. There you will find the specialists for specific problems with Plesk.
