Accepting customers manually before they can sign up

Im trying to set up a wholesale site on prestashop but trying to work out how to allow them to sign up but so they cant see prices etc till we verify them?

 

I have found out to make prices hidden for separate groups but can not find out how to make it so we have to accept them before they can continue to do any thing?

you likely need to purchase a module or create your own customization to allow this.  have you searched the addons store, forum or google search for what you are looking for?

This seems an easy straight forward approach to me!

 

1. Hide prices for all standard groups (group id 1-3).

2. Create a group called 'accepted customers'.

3. Once a customer signs on, you put them into the new group manually and also set the new group 'accepted customers' as default group. This is important.

 

I just tested it. No prices until I change the group for a new customer.

No prices also means, customer cannot order until group has been assigned.

 

Works like a charm.
