new install can't log in server host gator

Hi,

I have installed my store on host gator using their quick install.

all went successful but when I try to login it states my store doesnt exist.

I received an email giving me my user name and password and a link to my admin panel



Yet when I go to my url, I can see the basic store is there.

Is there a time lapse before I can get in?

Delete the shop directory (all the installed files), drop the database tables and install it using the normal procedure: http://www.prestashop.com/wiki/Installing_And_Updating_PrestaShop_Software/#Install_PrestaShop

Follow all the steps excepting for permissions, never CHMOD a directory to 777!! Permissions for directories is 755 for files 644 (the default Hostgator's permissions), so you don't need to change any permissions.

After the installation is complete delete the "install" folder. That's all.

Well after uninstalling and then reinstalling it worked but then I had unfriendly urls, and so many other things to keep fixing that I decided this was not for me.
