How can i show search block left columun only on category page

I want to show search block only on category page's left slide. it shouldn't be appear on home page .

Hi,

 

You just need to hook search module into left column using admin -> Modules and Services -> Positions -> Transplant.

And in Exceptions fields need to select the pages where you don't want the search block to display.

Simple
