Translation problem when copied the default theme in SSH Linux

Hello

 

I am using Prestashop v1.7 hosted on a vServer Linux with Debian 8 OS (jessie).

 

Inside SSH linux, I copied the default "classic" theme and pasted in same directory and renamed it, then in the admin area i activated the new theme.

 

The problem if I want to modify the translations i have to select the old "classic" theme or I get http error, i am confused how come the new theme translations is connected to old theme translations. The screenshots below explain about the problem:
