Getting Fatal Error for Modules & Services

Someone please help me! I keep getting this error whenever I click on the Modules 7 Services tab:

 

 

[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module file :/home/folipwkp/public_html/modules/avalaratax/avalaratax.php:
require(): Failed opening required '/home/folipwkp/public_html/modules/avalaratax/backward_compatibility/backward.php' (include_path='/home/folipwkp/public_html/tools/htmlpurifier/standalone:.:/opt/alt/php55/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php55/usr/share/php')

 

The version I'm using is 1.6.1.11--someone please, please, please help me! I haven't the foggiest idea of what to do!

an easiest way to fix the problem is change the name of directory:

avalaratax to _avaralatax - you can find this directory here: ROOT_DIR_OF_YOUR_PRESTASHOP/modules/avalaratax

 

if you want to use the module "avalaratax" it will be required to inspect the module to find the problem.

Disable the option html_purifier on back-office of your shop. Seems that this librry is not installed on your server.

 

How to diasble: Preferences -> general -> Use HTML purifier library = NO
