Multiple Homeage Banner in PS 1.7

I have started developing a new site in PS 1.7 for the fist time and have noticed you are no longer able to have multiple image banner block on the homage as in 1.6.

Any advice on the best module to do this.

mamacoco I have now bought the above module and so far I would say it is great and very easy to use. I think I will be using this on most of projects I have coming up.

 

Annoying that you seem to have to buy modules now which were included before as this increases the costs for our clients!!

Is there any way to duplicate the banner block module and duplicate install it to have a different banner?

Yes, i have tried that with PS 1.7. It seems its working at first glance but problem starts showing up once you clear the cache or you upload a new banner photo. Only the new banner gets displayed in the front office. Other duplicated banner stops displaying and it's because the module itself can not figure out its banner image.

Do you have any idea how can i add more banner in the same module? that way i would be able to add two or more banner side by side.
