MigrationPro
Hello dear Mujo. Want to give some friendly advice to you, instead of hiring someone, you can do it yourself. The only thing you need to do: get the "MigrationPro PrestaShop to PrestaShop" migration module from PrestaShop Addons: PrestaShop's Official Marketplace. This module is very easy to use, i am more than sure that you can do it yourself. It is better than hiring someone, because later on when PS will have a new update you don't need to search way how to do it or hire someone to do that, you can use again your module that you have already used before and had experienced. https://addons.prest...ation-tool.html Hope that you can solve your problem. Kindly regards, MigrationPro Team, Farid Muradi.
musicmaster
You could hire me or someone else for the real hands-on support, but here are a few starting points: - always work on a copy of the shop. Do not try to upgrade the original. Upgrades regularly go wrong. - upgrade to 1.6 and not 1.7. There is still too much trouble with 1.7 - before you start uninstall all non-Prestashop modules (disabling is not enough) and revert the shop to the default theme. - you won't be able to use your old modules and theme. So look for new ones before you start. - use autoupgrade where possible. - go in steps: 1.3->1.4, 1.4->1.5, etc. - old databases often get a bit corrupted. Look at the errors and the warnings that are generated. Usually it is no big deal once you understand what it is about. - if the new shop turns out to be a bit unstable that can usually be solved with my free tool copy_shopdata that copies the business data of a shop to a fresh Prestashop installation of the same version.
