1.7.1.2 - unable to edit address on checkout / classic theme

Dear fellow prestashoppers,

I have just set up a quick shop and during testing the checkout  I found out that editing the address is not possible - system redirects to store front on hitting "edit"

deleting however works

 

is that a known issue? seems pretty basic to me.
