I just want to insert a link to HOMEPAGE in the footer, where I have some links to CMS pages. But I could not find a way to insert a link to the homepage using the CMS module. How can I do that?

contentbox -> http://contentbox.org/

Another option, for example to add manual link in the file:

/themes/your-template/modules/blockcms/blockcms.tpl

or in the config module blockcms (tab modules -> modules) add link in the text box
