Invoice not showing State in the Address of Shipper

The "State" is missing in the address from the shipper in the Invoice, at the top of the Invoice page, not the footer.

Please see attached picture.

 

I can not find anyone else with this same problem and I don't know how to solve this. Can someone please tell me how to enable the State in the shipper address of Invoice?

 

Also does anyone know if this is due to the coding or a module or what else ?

That's how it actually works, unfortunately. It's a bit complex to add it, you basically have to edit the invoice class and make sure a state is passed to the addressformat class. I will write or record a tutorial about this soon, as many people complain about it

Thank you. If it is so complicated, can you please make the explanation as clear and as easy to understand for a novice? I don't understand what you mean by edit the "invoice class" . . "addressformat class" , where they are or how to edit them.
