Redeeming a voucher code via a hidden method?

Is there a way I can use a hidden method to have customers redeem vouchers, such as a URL parameter or putting the form on a CMS page?

 

I want to be able to offer vouchers, but without having the form on the checkout page that causes shoppers to leave the funnel.

If there is no input for a voucher, how the customer will enter it?

 

Are you sure that you want vouchers? You could create VIP customer group and then give that customer group discount for one product or category, maybe this would work for you?

The customer will redeem the voucher via a link with a url parameter, or on a CMS page form. 

 

It's bad practice to have the voucher box on the checkout page unless everyone has a voucher ready to go already. It sends people away to hunt for one, and they often don't come back.

 

No, group pricing will not work.

 

In the US we call these coupons, not vouchers, but I searched for both and came across dozens and dozens of threads on here and other sites of people asking for this feature, but nobody with a workable solution.

You might need to hire a developer to make you a custom functionality.

This will be way more expensive than buying existing module.

FYI what I did was just copy the html form from the page the voucher box was on, and put it in an htmlanywhere block, and put a conditional in the cms.tpl to show it on a sort of hidden CMS page.
