JanneJ
Hi,I've been messing around with Prestashop and was getting ready to roll up my sleeves and reallystart to work with it. Everything worked nicely on my test server but when i started to install it to my customers server, things took an downward turn.First i got this error message:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expectingT_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in/var/www/fs2/9/something/public_html/something/install/classes/ToolsInstall.phpon line 4I checked and it seems to be because the server was using PHP4. I could get that fixed without probs BUTthe main problem is that i got told by the hosting company that Prestashop doesn't really work properlyon clustered servers and they recommended that i'd use something else instead.Supposedly there are problems like having to log-in time after time, shopping cart loosing its contents etc. to be expected.Anyway i already started looking for other options (mainly OpenCart because for example Magento seems to be a bit overkill) but then again i thought i'd like to hear your thoughts and comments before jumping ship! Also unfortunately changing a hosting company isn't possible in this case.
