One solution for installing Presta on PC localhost

Hi

Thanks for Prestashop.

Developers and designers must have prestashop on PC for developing and designing; but for many user install wizard stop in x% and showing 500 server internal error.

 

One solution:

1. At first install Presta on linux hosting and download mysql DB.
2. Delete DB tables and import downloaded DB.
3. Change parameters this file: prestashop/app/config/parameters.php for local db connection
4. Change ps_shop_url table fields: domain=localhost and physical_url=name of directory-of-presta/
5. Delete this file for atou rebuild again: prestashop/config/xml/must_have_modules_list.xml
6. Use email and password for admin that had inserted in DB for login to shop control panel.

It is good if for each release of prestashop; Prestashop.com provides a database with samples for downloading and manual installing.
