Superadmin problems after moving shop to new domain

Hi there,

We moved our Prestashop 1.6.1.1 to a new domain (made a copy of the files and database and moved them).

We also deleted the cache.

So far so good. We can login as superadmin and the shop is showing in the front.

But in the backend (as superadmin) it's not possible to configure modules, to delete the cache, to change your password, etc. It's also impossible to connect with the webservice (20: authentication is not active, 21: no permission for this authentication key).

We also added a superadmin manually via the database, picked a user and changed and turned it from active to inactive and back. Nothing helps.

So we are stuck right now. Does anybody have a clue how to make the superadmin, superadmin again, so it can edit everything?

Best regards.

Hi there, thanks for your reply. That's not possible. Even that is giving an error (see attachment).

Just to be clear. It's possible to login in the backend. But when logged in as superadmin, big parts of the shop cannot be edited.

Fixed. Within config/defines.inc.php the DEV-mode was on and this was the reason the javascript calls did not work.

Therefore the buttons in the backend were failing (configure module, deleting the cache, changing a user password, etc.)

Now everything is working normal again.

Yes you always should to trun debug mode first and than look for exact error. Keep it up.
