Apache HTTP Server has encounted a problem when running backend

Hi all
When ever access the prestashop backend I get a...

Apache HTTP Server has encounted a problem and needs to close.
Error Signature
szAppName: Apache.exe
szAppVer: 2.0.54.0
szModName: php5ts.dll
szModVer: 5.0.4.4
offset: 00007b54

Strangely enough it only happens on the backend. Front end is ok.
I run the software on my local pc for testing

I have about 15 other different php softwares and none of them giveme this same problem.

Has anybody else encounted this problem and has a fix for this?
