Cartoonkleding
Hi I had the URL of my backoffice saved in my internet browser on my old broken laptop. I now have a new one and I cant access the BO because I dont know the url. I know the URL should be something like; www.cartoonkleding.nl/adminxxxx But I can not find my admin folder in the file manager... Please help. Thank you
selectshop.at
The folder must have another name. Prestashop does not allow to use /admin. For to use back-office you need to rename it. If you forgot the name, than log with filezilla to your FTP and read the folders name there.
Cartoonkleding
Hi, Thanks for your answer. Where do I find the folder in my FTP? I am in my root folder. But I dont know where to look. selectshop.at
1) Who installed the Prestashop for you ? If wasn't you, than ask the person who installed it for you. 2) Open all folders you have there and look for one which has the following sub-folders on it: - autoupgrade - backups - export - filemanager - import - tabs - theme If you find a folder with these sub-folders, than it is the folder/name of the back-office and you open it by: www.yourdomain.com/foldername 3) If these tips didn't help: Sorry, but if you don't remember the name by looking into your FTP (this should give you a 100% chance to remember it), than there is no other way.
Cartoonkleding
Thank you so much for your reply. I found the folder. It was nothing like admin1234. So therefore it was hard for me to find. Because you named the things that should be in de folder, I was able to search specific for this map. I tried logging in, and it worked! You are awesome.
