Mail attachment order

Hi guys, 

 

I have a problem with the email that is send when an order is made. When there is an order made by a customer a mail is send to me (the admin). I would like that this mail would include the attachment that the customer uploaded when he ordered the product. Is this possible?

The email you receive (the merchant) is from the module mailalerts.  I'm not aware of a feature that allows a customer to upload an attachment with their order, is this a custom module you are using, or perhaps a customization you made to the store?

Hi, thank you for the answer. 

The file can be uploaded by adding a product customisation file field in the back office. 

My goal is if the customer adds a file that field that it will be in the mail send to me.

What types of files do you receive?  Are you not worried about receiving a virus or executable file in your email?  Also how large can these files be?

The files are pictures that are used to create logo's for events. It is only a selected amount of customers, this is why we do it this way in this way there is no risk because we know all of our customers. Not that large. just on picture in 99% of the cases so maybe 1 or 2 mb.
