Which hook use to insert a smarty variable in confirmation email?!

Hi Folks,

I need to add a value of a smarty variable I created in my module to the confirmation email layout. How can I add the variable to the confirmation email in order to be able to use it?!

 

For other sections of the website (PDFInvoice, order-detail) in my module I registered the hooks (displayPDFInvoice or displayOrderDetail) and then created a function where I assigned a smarty variable, so I could use it in the hooks i registered.

How could I do the same with confirmation email?!
