taniacr
Hi, We upload some PDF catalogs by FTP to a specific folder called "catalogs". So we can send the link to our customers. For example www.store.com/catalogs/2016/new.pdf But Prestashop tries to rewrite the links so we get a 404 error... Maybe changing .htaccess to ignore the catalogs folder when rewriting might solve it? Any tips on how I could do it? Thank you
selectshop.at
It must be some other error. Prestashop do not change links by itself. 1) Perhaps the download of specific folders is not allowed by your hoster. It's not a prestashop problem. Prestashop does not include a folder named "catalogs" therefore it will not serve/map this one. Please read also error-logs of your server in this case. 2) If you made some changes on Prestashop .htaccess, you should revise this too. 3) Please also check, if mod_security, or a firewall is running on your server. Mod_security should be set to OFF and the firewall on server better configured. 4) In the case you are running two software (WordPress+Prestashop for ex.) on same folder, you should adapt the .htaccess to serve for both software.
