Good morning,

I'm trying to upgrade from version 1.7.0.5 to 1.7.1.1 using 1-click upgrade v2.1.0.

Initial checklist is all green, I'm using local directory method, I've uploaded all the files in /adminxxxxxxxx/autoupgrade/latest/prestashop.

When upgrade is launched I get:

  1. file backup done
  2. database backup done
  3. file upgrade done
  4. database upgrade error: "/install/upgrade/php directory is missing in archive or directory."
  5. asks me if I want to revert to backup, and if I choose yes it does a complete restore.

Before doing any restore I've checked server directory and I've found:

  • on "/": no "install" dir at all
  • on "/": a new dir named "prestashop" with a copy of the new version of the site
  • on "/prestashop" dir: there is present an "install" dir, but without files inside
  • on "/adminxxxxxxxx/autoupgrade/latest/prestashop/install": there are all the necessary files needed for the upgrade

I'm using PHP 7.0.9.

Can you help me, please?

Thanks in advance

I've solved the issue with this workaround:

  1. copied "install" dir and all his content on /
  2. renamed "install" to "installxyz" (if prestashop finds install dir it blocks access to admin panel)
  3. started upgrade with 1-click upgrade and immediatedly renamed "installxyz" to "install"
  4. the upgrade went gone without errors

Maybe this trick could be useful for someone.
