SOLVED! Cant access backend

Hey all
I just installed prestashop and the front end is fine

However when I try to access the admin section using...
/admin111/login.php?redirect=1/

I get a ?redirect=1/

I enter my usernme and password and it tries to go to
/admin111/1/

there for getting a 404 Not Found page.

Where did this /1 folder come from - not listed in the files.

I deleted the install folder and renamed my Admin folder to admin111

Have I mised something?

I had an experience similar to yours. I got a redirect to redirect=.php. The problem was solved by chance when I imported a language pack recently translated by me from my store on localhost.

but how do you import a language pack if I can access the backend?

Only the redirection fails, the authentication is successful. Type the correct address in your web browser and you'll probably get into the back office. For me, it worked.
