Combining Filters with Searchbox functionality

Hello all,

 

Is it possible to natively combine the Filter functionality with the Searchbox functionality? I.e. after using the search functionality, then being able to filter the produced results.

 

The problem:

When visitors first arrive in our shop (http://webshop.usiten.nl/), they are presented with additional filter options @ the left hand side of the shop (see Filter_Search_1.png). However, when one uses the searchbox functionality (see Filter_Search_2.png) to search for a specific product, the Filtering options are no longer available (see Filter_Search_3.png).

 

The needed solution:

Is this something that can be solved natively in PrestaShop (installed theme = Eagle) or do we need an add-on? And if so, which add-on(s) would be best?
