How to only display available combination attributes?

How can I display only available product attributes when certain combinations exist?

 

For example, if I have a product available in red, blue & green. Blue and green are available in small, medium and large,but red is only available in small. 

 

If someone selects small, then all colours are shown as available.

If someone selects red, then the only size small is shown as available

Is there a module that could do this or a way this can be achieved?

Has your problem got fixed? i found there is same problem happend on my 1.7.6.3, although I did these still same problem like yours

There are 2 settings in Shop Parameters / Product Settings page that should be disabled:

"Display unavailable product attributes on the product page" => should be NO

"Allow ordering of out-of-stock products" => should be NO

 Maybe my module "Attribute Price and Availability Display" will be useful for you. I does not hide the combination but disables them if desired. Check it out in the addon store:
