anithegregorian
Hi,Apologize if this is not the right place to talk about this. Prestashop hugely uses jQuery and with the new version of jQuery 1.4.2 a lot of core Prestashop JS code fails to work.On almost two occasions I was able to correct them ie. in thickbox-modified.js script and jquery.idTabs.modified.js both of the scripts are using the old jQuery selector syntax -> @I understand jQuery now uses Sizzle CSS selectors now Prestashop guys something has to be done I guess.... rocky
There is a feature request for this here where you can support this request. Hopefully, if enough people comment, PrestaShop will upgrade jQuery in a future version of PrestaShop.
lgarcia
That's a big handicap in using Prestashop. jQuery is now in 1.5 and Prestashop still using 1.2.6? Why? Backward compatibility? We can't use the newest and better jQuery plugins.
rocky
This issue has been fixed. PrestaShop v1.4 uses jQuery v1.4.4.
