hi,

i have a test site which works everything fine. however, after i move to my live site, it gets logout problem.

i use cpanel file manger to zip all files then copy them to my live site directory and unzip it, all via file manager. i realize there is a file hidden and not copied so i wonder there are more hidden files are not being copied and cause this error.

do you guys know what are those files can't be copied via file manager?

and what is the better way to move files to new site?

Thanks

I don't think that's the issue, all needed files are visible.
For a clean backup, simply make a db dump and copy/zip the whole root folder. THat's enough.
Of course, after that, and when you restore, you need to

1- change credentials in config/settings.inc.php

2- clear the .htaccess file (if any) in the root
3- Access the bo and make sure you have the right urls setup in Seo&Urls

If you can't access the bo try resetting your password, in an incognito window
