*GianlucaVega*
Hi World, We transferred two weeks ago our prestashop on VPS (Best solution performance) Inmotion Company (http://www.inmotionhosting.com), hence our nightmare began! the server has basic issues and not Expert with Prestashop Platform. We only lost time and money, even by paying extra money for better support advanced configuration does not work at all! and we had only problems for all! In Our Development Environment all work perfectly and in addition for show that everything works well our side we have created a copy of our e-commerce on a new poor shared hosting of $4 per month and all work perfectly! (only lose time and money) but the same Inmotion company does not configure well our VPS for Prestashop, so we think that this great handicap depend only on Inmotion company. We are very Disgusted by the incapacity and no experience with Prestashop system of this company Inmotion but The worst thing is that I have known Inmotion company on the Prestashop official website as the best choice !!! After the work of our team Lawyers to request a full refund + REFUND DAMAGES TO MY COMPANY The Inmotion sent a long letter where I will copy and paste only an excerpt of handicap on Prestashop: ------------------------------------------ As our servers are configured by default to be a general hosting environment, rather than an environment for a specific CMS, it would be difficult for me know to precisely what kinds of configuration you need done with your server in order to allow PrestaShop to work normally. I have had a few test installations of PrestaShop on my VPS, which is the same as yours in terms of the package, and have not noted any specific issues utilizing PrestaShop on that end. That being said, I do wish to assist with making sure things are set to your specification, though I will need to know what those specifications are. As we are a hosting company that isn't dedicated to a specific CMS, we do have some general knowledge of PrestaShop and its functionality but specific server-wide configurations are not in our normal scope of knowledge for our technicians. ------------------------------------------ Oh My God ! WTF Inmotion ?? Now we have decide to migrate our Prestashop in a new VPS hosting company, so I kindly ask if you know this company recommended always by Prestashop Official website and if is a REAL Better choice for Prestahop ecommerce: https://www.1and1.co.uk/virtual-server (VPS Cloud XXL Offer) Or advice us other VPS company with Better support experience and best performance with Prestashop 1.6.1.12 Thank you for your cooperation/help. askinjew
if you want the use VPS you can try digitalocean . I have been using it for 2 years. l must tell you ,I did not need any support. for vps or vds you didnt need any prestashop support. Because you do everything. If you need help you should be your hosting choice for your website. My opinion is this way.

Dh42
You aren't going to find a host that can support PrestaShop as well as a development agency or a dedicated support agency can support it. No hosts have the time or money really.

Hi Dh42, Are you serious? we need only a VPS hosting that support Prestashop with better performance/basic configurations without damage our website like now with Inmotion. It is hard? i don't think so. Anyway on Inmotion website frontend talk about high experience that supported 100% Prestashop platform and Offer Advanced service payable at hours for Tuneup your VPS for Prestashop! it's a Lie, Not True. Thanks the same. Edited April 10, 2017 by *GianlucaVega* (see edit history)
Dh42
Our company is likely the largest supplier of PrestaShop support in the industry. We deal with dozens of hosting companies on a daily basis and set up custom server builds for our clients daily. I can tell you that it is just not there. You linked a $20 a month plan and asked about it. How much expertise or service do you plan to get for $20 a month? They likely only have a few minutes allocated to each customer before they start losing money on each customer. If you are looking to better cms specific support you need to multiply that number a couple of times to be in the range.

I Have linked the hosting where Official Prestashop Website linked us (The same for Inmotion months ago we have see like now on prestashop website) -> https://www.prestashop.com/en/getting-started When you say: If you are looking to better cms specific support you need to multiply that number a couple of times to be in the range. -> Sound Good for us. Who are you talking about? Thank you.

Denver Prophit Jr.
Many Thanks Dh42 ! But for bandwidth latency this company have the server farm in Europe? Anyway The price don't is the multiply of $20 but ten times higher and also more at month with minimum offer VPS (O_0) We have VPS spin ups in Amsterdam. We regularly participate and contribute to core. Our VPS's are fully managed. Any setting you want will be accommodated. But things like compiling and configuring Xdebug would be at our regular IT rate of $85/hr Ask retro on skype how he likes his vps service with our company.
