how do I restrict one product for a specific country in prestashop 1.6

Hi everyone

How do I restrict one product for a specific country in prestashop 1.6. ? 

I don't want to display the product for France but have the product visble for Holland Belgium DE the UK and Italy.

You can add a country as specific ID instead of groups ( you can even just hardcode it in the front)

Thanks for the reply. 

What do  you mean 'just hardcode it in the front'?  I am not a coder so don't know how to code that id into the module. Do you have the code?

Once I have done the specific code change would I have to re code the id for the products if I  do an upgrade to prestashop since the code will be overwritten with the update?

My shop is on standby now since one product cannot be sold in France.

Yeah the module only considers groups but it's a good starting point. And yes, you have to code
No, you won't have to, as long as the country ID stays the same (if not you can just change that)
