Help with discount module

Hi,

I'm creating a module where the admin user can choose customers to give discounts in their orders. 

In the admin interface the user selects one of the customers, the period (date start and end), a flag to indicate if the discount will be applied by percentage or amount, the percentage (or amount) of the discount for the total of the order and shipping.

 

This interface inside the admin is ready my problem now is making the part of the module that applies this discount. I'm pretty new to PrestaShop (I discovered the platform yesterday) and I have to deliver the module in 2 days. I don't even know what to look for in google or the documentation.

 

Can you guys give me some clues to follow? A plugin that does something similar or a tutorial would be useful.
